Wookiee the Chew

Today, I'd like to direct you to www.jameshance.com where James Hance showcases his "Relentlessly Cheerful Art".
His most important creation is probably "Wookiee the Chew": an adorable mash-up of Chewbacca, the Wookiee from Star Wars, and Winnie the Pooh.

There are a number of Wookie the Chew prints available on his website. And, he's released an entire illustrated book based on the original A.A. Milne/E.H.Sheppard called "The House at Chew Corner".

Mr. Hance grew up in the UK, and now hails from Florida, USA. He makes relentlessly cheerful art based on other themes as well. Here are some of my Star Wars favorites:

And here are some prints I love from other worlds:

(The Doctor Who and Firefly ones are available on t-shirts!)

Mr. Hance makes some great art! But more importantly, he's also a great dad. His ebullient 7-year-old daughter, Maddy suffers from a couple of rare gastrointestinal diseases.  The website sometimes hosts fundraiser projects to help pay for her treatment. It just so happens, they have one going on right now!

Click Here if you'd like to purchase the above print, and have a relentlessly cheerful day!
