Post-it® Menu Planner

A new post! Bet you thought I was dead or some-such. I haven't had time to update here lately, but that doesn't mean I'm gone forever. It does mean I probably won't be back for a while though... We'll see.

In any case, I made a thing, and this seemed like the best place to share it! Mr. BoredAdmin and I have decided to start making weekly meal plans. This should help us be more healthy and frugal, not to mention save us from that awful feeling when you come home too tired to decide what's for dinner. I have given up and ordered pizza more times than I'd like to admit. So here is my solution:

If you print it on legal paper, the squares should be the perfect size for standard Post-it® Notes! (The teapot image is public domain and comes from Graphics Fairy.) If you prefer, here's a pdf version.

Enjoy, and happy planning! I hope to see you again soon.

July Calendar Round-Up

Sorry for the lack of updates folks. Times have been tough. I won't leave you hangin' without your calendars though.

June Calendar Round-Up

Here it is! (A bit late... sorry...) But just as fun and free as ever.

From their email: "We've rolled back to the (Italian) wild west, and our spaghetti-toting cowboy is ready to let the fettucini [sic] fly! Loaded up with an extra helping of meatballs, he's prepared to battle it out against all corners for cutest June calendar."

Friday Link Dump

Hello again. Here's a cute, and then some links:

I couldn't find the original source. Via: Pinterest

Phone Game

One of the members of the band OkGo (of which I'm a fan) made this phone game.
It is one of the many things which makes me wish I could afford a smart phone.
Even without one, the promotional video was fun to watch.

Science Video

Here is a video about nano-science, narrated by Stephen Fry (who is awesome).
It's about 17 minutes long. It was made by Cambridge University. And it is fascinating!

Faith In Humanity Video

This is a 5 1/2 minute compilation of footage from car cams in Russia.
As I understand it, those folks must all have a camera on the front of their vehicles for insurance purposes.
What was captured are some pretty rad random acts of kindness.
Seriously, I was smiling for hours after watching this! (Via: Upworthy)

New Webcomic

Well, new to me. My friend Kira recommended this to me after I said that my husband and I would make great super-villains. I plan to spend the rest of my rainy afternoon reading this and smiling maniacally.

Happy Friday!
