Shirt.Woot
Shirt.Woot is a part of the Woot.com deal website family. Woot started out in 2004 with the slogan "One Day, One Deal". Now they offer many deals every day under many subcategories like kids.woot, wine.woot, and home.woot. The newest addition to the family is sport.woot. But we’re here to talk about shirts.
In the deal-a-day spirit, Shirt.Woot features one new shirt every day. Woot shirts are not just cheap ($10-$15 + $5 shipping), they’re also nifty and ethically produced. From their FAQ:
"Woot Tees are 100% cotton blank shirts. The designs are printed at Woot's own printing facility in our Carrollton, Texas headquarters. Although the people who make them do sweat occasionally, Woot Tees are produced in sweatshop-free conditions."
Featured designs are usually nerdy, or adorable. Here’s a design which is both:

Dear Photograph
Dear Photograph is a young website run by a young dude. Taylor Jones is only 22, and the site is only 8 months old. Already they’ve made a big mark on the internet. The idea is simple. You take an old photo which means something to you, and bring it back to the place where it was taken. Then you line up the old image with the location today as the background and take a new picture like this:

Scout Creative
Scout Creative is a marketing agency in Portland, OR. Stay with me now. They’re a very cool marketing agency. Like, fez-cool. Here’s what they say about themselves: “We have discovered that providing engaging and educational content, rich in thought and creativity, yields far better results for our clients than more traditional marketing approaches.” One of the coolest things about them is their free monthly paper craft calendars!

Cake Wrecks
Cake Wrecks is a humor blog I’ve been following for years. Since 2008, Jen Yates has been posting pictures of failed professional cakes with funny commentary. Along with three occasional guest contributors, she has found/received enough material to post six days a week! Well, to be fair, only weekdays feature wrecks. On Sundays, she posts “Sunday Sweets” featuring amazingly good cakes. Here’s an example from this week’s comic book themed post:

Humble Indie Bundle
It’s a revolution in the video-game industry! It’s a charity! It’s a discount!! It’s HUMBLE INDIE BUNDLE! (*trumpet fanfare*)
Now in its fifth incarnation, the Humble Indie Bundle emerges from the mist for two weeks to let you choose how much you’d like to pay for great games. That’s right. You set the price. What’s more: you can choose how much of that money goes to the humble bundle folks, directly to the developers, and to two nifty/nerdy non-profits.
