Hi.

This isn't a real post. It's a psudo-post. I'm sorry I haven't published anything new for a while. A combo of personal junk and family junk has gotten in the way of my drive to write. However, part of the reason I started this blog was to practice stick-to-it-ive-ness. As such, I will continue to strive for a regular update schedule.

This much I can promise you: I will post a link-dump this Friday. And next Wendesday's post should be a real hum-dinger! (It's taking a bit more research than usual, but I'm enjoying every minute!)

Neil Gaiman's Commencement Speech

My favorite author is Neil Gaiman. I've twitter-stalked him for years. In case you're uninitiated, he has written lots of good books. Some of them were made into good movies (Stardust, Coraline, etc.). He’s still writing books (ostensibly good ones), and he looks sort of like this:
